The number of visitors to the Salon du Cycle in Paris last Sept. 13-16 dropped to 41,000 from 69,000 that attended the previous edition of the French bike show in 2011. The organizers attributed the big decline to poor weather conditions and the simultaneous staging of an important consumer fair.
