Asics’ Bottom Line Impresses, Top Line Doesn’T

A 6.5 percent drop in sales to ¥31.3 billion (€278.3m-$386.4m) in the second quarter ended Sept. 30 kept Asics Corporation from living up to earlier forecasts, largely due to a drop in the Japanese market and the appreciation of the yen.
