The most faked sneaker models

counterfeited trainers preview

One brand dominates, but with which iconic line? Our infographic shows the RRP, counterfeit price and resale value of the 10 most counterfeited sneakers.

Two news stories this week highlighted the scale of the counterfeit goods problem. A European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) study showed that while Europeans are becoming increasingly wary of counterfeits and illegal content, half of young consumers (aged 15-24) are still willing to buy fakes, with price being a major factor. Sneaker trading platform StockX also revealed that authenticators stopped nearly $30 million worth of fake sneakers from being traded on the platform over the last 12 months. With this in mind, we bring you an infographic of the most faked sneaker models. To see the downloadable infographic, subscribe to SGI Europe.
