Leki Lenhart filed a patent infringement suit last Jan. 30 in Buffalo, New York against Dick's Sporting Goods, the American sporting goods retailer's licensing arm and Synergy Sportz, which operates as Yukon Charlie. The federal lawsuit alleges that the defendants infringed on Leki's patent for an adjustable-length tube for trekking poles.
