Sympatex has announced its latest webinar, “No to PFAS,” to be held on May 4, 2023, at 10:30–12:00 CEST. Katy Stevens (EOG), Lisa Skedung (RISE) and Jonatan Kleimark (ChemSec) will give an overview of specific PFAS restriction consequences in the textile industry, current PFAS alternatives, the concrete procedure of ECHA’s consultation phase, and how industry members can actively engage. Sympatex’s Nicole Hühn will be the host and moderator.
With the subheading, ”Walk the Talk and say NO to PFAS – A Workshop on Alternatives and Concrete Action,” the webinar will explore how the industry is responding to existing and upcoming PFAS restrictions and the EU law for ecodesign and sustainable products and what alternatives already exist. The significance of the topic cannot be overstated, with a likely ban on PFAS planned for 2025.
