Kylian Mbappé, with his namesake Inspired By KM foundation, partnered with Nike on May 5 to host a multi-sport event for young athletes in Paris that kicked off Nike’s “Victory Mode” tour. The French football icon, who currently plays for PSG, is also a Nike ambassador. More than 2,000 youth took part in the event, which was held on the Champs-Elysées, in front of the Nike House of Innovation.

The Parisian event marked the first stage of Nike’s Victory Mode tour, an initiative that aims to encourage youth across the Île-de-France region to give their best through sports while also discovering new sports. The events are open to all. Nike will host six additional Victory Mode events in greater Paris throughout the spring and summer. The next stop will be on May 18 in Nanterre, celebrating French basketball star Victor Wembanyama. Five more dates in the greater Paris area will follow in June and July, before the grand finale at the Centre Pompidou in Paris on Aug. 11.

Victory Mode events are organized in collaboration with Golden Blocks, Nike’s historical partner in France. Participants can register via the Nike Paris app and Nike.com.
